The things I can't live without

Never really shown people what I carry around with me in my super huge handbag. So I thought I'd let you all in on my secret.

These are pretty much all the things I literally NEED in my bag to survive the day. I always have some form of diet coke/Pepsi in my bag as I think I have a slight addiction to them. My purse (of course) for all that money I (don't) have. My trusty notebook where I jot EVERYTHING down from blog ideas to appointments. My mobile phone. I think I would die if this was left somewhere. Car keys, I wouldn't be able to go anywhere without these. I rely too much on my car.
A bit of liptstick and my powder (just for little touch ups through the day). My body spray. I have to say this is the best body spray I've found. It's Pure Devotion and is from New Look. You can buy the body spray and parfume for £9.99 in stores. Bit of a bargain if you ask me. Sunglasses. Bit optimistic I know but hey-hoy. This is why, ladies, my bag is so huge. I do also carry my camera around with me all the time but I took the photo with it sooooo you get the idea.

Easy storage ideas

So for weeks I've had tattered old plastic boxes in my room full of stuff I barely use or even never used! I finally went on a search for some nice looking boxes for my random bits and bobs in my room. After searching high and low I finally found the perfect ones.

These first ones I found I instantly fell in love with. I love the way they look like little (or should I say big) books. These are from Asda Living and were £7 for two of them. One is slightly larger than the other. I keep these on top of my drawers and store all my hair products in for the morning. I love the pattern on them as well as it really goes with the colours of my room.

These second ones I found were also a big help. I've stored more bric-a-brac in these ones are there are 3 different sizes and the depth of them are slightly larger than the book ones. These are also from Asda Living and were £10 for 3 of them. There is a small, medium and large one and they also have little metal handles on the side to help carry/move them around. I love the pattern on these ones as I have a current obsession with the roses recently. If you're patient enough, you can shop around and find some cute chic looking boxes for your room for under £10 and they can come in all different shapes, sizes and patterns. I know Primark have some but only the bigger stores stock them.
